The Alminco Scorpion is a track-mounted drilling rig that has proved its reliability in harsh underground environments. The air-driven hydrauclic pump provides plenty of power for drilling and tramming with no electrical requirement.

Operator-friendly controls and labelling reduce training time, increase productivity, enhance safety and ensure the Scorpion is readily accepted by operators - resulting in a lower cost of ownership.

The Scorpion is compact in size and fitted with a manoeuvrable boom and drill mast, which can be selected to operate in a variety of seam heights. The incorporation of tine pockets in the design of the Scorpion makes it easy to transport over longer distances with a forklift or LHD.
